Road trip to the gulf coast
Jethro and I hit the road… We drove across Florida to the Gulf coast and to my Aunts gorgeous little beach house where so many childhood memories where made. Every time I cross this bridge to get to the island my soul does backflips.
My bridge crossing ritual is… windows go down, head goes out the window and a deep breath of salty air is in-haled… yes, that feels good.
Happy Halloween memories
It is most certainly a better morning
nap time looked like this
Feet in the water
We made it!
One + two = Miami
+
= MIAMI!
Two more days until we touch down in Miami, but first a long haul flight with a 13 month old. Expect the worst, be pleasantly surprised when they travel like a pro…. After many of these flights with multiple children I have learned one thing… there are no magic tricks or magic pills, I don’t care how many treats you have packed or new toys you have loaded up in there tiny back packs or how many movies are ready to entertain them on their IPads… you just never know how the cookie will crumble (usually all over the floor where most of the toys have been thrown and then wiped all over the arm of the nice stranger sitting next to you.) The best advice for traveling with children is LET IT GO!!!!.. Breath, relax, succumb and relinquish control… you will land eventually.
Oh yeah… and def take at least 5 xanax and chug wine instead of water….. just kidding!!!! Happy travels!
Sssshhhhh
THIS BREAD IS FROM ALDI!!!!
Feeding a family is expensive and some days I feel like all I do is cook shit- other days I feel like all I do is buy shit to cook. So when I find inexpensive awesomely delicious things like this rosemary, raisin nut bread it makes living in the momhood all that more spectacular! Scream it from the roof tops that this bread is from Aldi or tell no one ever and pretend you only buy fancy bread from expensive shops either way people will be impressed.
